Once again our area has been spared. We were prepared; but, luckily, all we had was rain and wind--no loss of power. However, on Oakland Park Blvd., a big ficus tree fell on power lines. Many homes are without power in that area.Today, over here, the sun is shining and everything is calm. The mayor said to keep off the roads until the roads have been checked for downed wires and fallen trees.
