Lauderhill Officials and Staff Preparing for the Effects of Hurricane Irma

PRESS RELEASE
As major news channels have been reporting,
most weather models show the strong likelihood Hurricane Irma may impact
our community this upcoming weekend. The City of Lauderhill staff has
been preparing for this weather event and
will continue to do so until the storm arrives.

for storm related updates in Broward. The website contains a Hurricane
Preparedness Guide, Evacuation and Shelter Information, Public
Transportation and School Closings/Openings, County Government
Closings/Openings as well as other storm resources.
The City of Lauderhill’s Bulk Pick Up Collection Services will cease for the month of September.
Regular Garbage and Recycling will continue until further notice.
The City of Lauderhill’s programming, meetings, and events will continue as scheduled - but may cease as the week continues.
More announcements will be made as it pertains to City services, programs, closings and openings in the next couple of days.
