George Arthur Talbot 90, of Lauderhill, passed away May 4, 2015 at Florida Medical Center after a brief hospital stay. George was born in Exeter, New Hampshire on January 28, 1925 to William and Sarah Phillips Talbot. He was the remaining survivor of eight brothers and sisters. George was also preceded in death by his first wife Elinor Mary Counter Talbot. George spent 4 years in the USN and after being discharged he attended drafting school. He worked for several shipyards throughout the years designing blueprints for our Naval ships. George loved playing golf as long as he was able, and was a big baseball fan, especially rooting for his Boston Red Sox. George is survived by his loving wife June, a son Alan (Cindy) Talbot, a daughter Pamela (Robert) Luth, five grandchildren, Brandon, Craig Rubis, Alan, Adam, and Tracy Talbot. He also had three great grandchildren, Trent Gallagher, Alyssa and Benjamin Talbot. Also surviving are his Stepson, Jim (Barb) Smith, Stepdaughter, Nita Holloway, granddaughters, Jamie Smith and Kathy Butrim. Cremation is to take place and memorial service to be held at a later date.
