PARU DANS LE SUN-SENTINEL
As one suffered from Wilma, the worst storm in my 28 years in Florida, getting power back in 95 ½ hours, - cooking with sterno, using flashlights four nights in a row - but there was a good side. Neighbor after neighbor pitched in helping anyone they could - buying charcoal, bringing food, ringing doorbells to see if help was needed. The final two nights at our gazebo were beef stew and then a gigantic pot of spaghetti., all you could eat. We celebrated getting power back with the beef stew and [had] a funeral for Wilma, thanking everyone who did more than you would expect from a neighbor. Those of us that were here felt lucky because we found that neighbors have hearts and really care for those living side by side.

Hi, Claude,
It was nice of you to include in your blog Arnold's letter and mine. Lauderhill East is a nice complex to live in and you've done a lot to make people realize it. Thanks.
